| I was thinking after watching Backlash 2005 that Batista
had the WHT for a long ass time but he never properly dropped it
because he was injured. So that got me thinking what champs dropped or
vacated a title too soon because of injury or suspension?
My other questions are:
1} How much longer do you think they would have kept their title if they did not get injured or suspended?
2} Who do you think they would have lost it to?
3} Were you happy with who ended up the next champ?
So here are the champs that I thought of that had this happen to them in the wwe:
Vacted or lost due to injury-
Batista - 1st WHT reign
Undertaker - 2007 WHT win after WM 23
Edge - 2007 WHT reign that he won after Taker went down.
Edge - IC title reign in 2004.
Edge - Unified Tag Titles in June 2009.
Lita - Women's Title win in Dec 2004.
Jazz - 2nd Women's title reign in 2003.
Vacated or lost due to suspension-
Jeff Hardy - IC title reign #4 won in Sep 2007.
RVD - WWE and ECW title won at ONS 2006.
Rey Mysterio - IC Title reign # 2.
I
know I am missing a lot but those are the ones that I could think of
right of the top of my head so if you want answer the 3 blue bolded
questions about each title reign or the ones you care about. .

| Yes, I know I didn't list everyone but someone that I also left off was Morrison losing his ECW title to Punk in 2007. I am pretty sure he got suspended and had to drop so that counts.

| actually Jazz lost both her titles due to injury. first time around she had a damaged ACL and that's why Molly was turned heel and Trish won the belt in that odd tag match. then she injured her shoulder so she dropped it in the battle royal
Booker T got injured in 2003 when he was IC champion so he had to drop the title at a house show | |
