Jerry Springer Comments On Why He Is Hosting Raw

I attended a taping of the Jerry Springer Show this morning in Stamford, CT. Before the taping, Jerry asked if there were any questions from the audience.

I ended up asking him “Why did you want to guest-host Monday Night Raw?" He pondered for a second, but then said “Because they asked.”

What was funny is that he didn’t know the date of Raw he was hosting and he seemed confused. Someone on his security team had to tell him it was February 15th.

He then said, “I do stupid things!” and I wished him Good Luck!

Watch the predictability of this. Two superstars will be in a brawl, and Jerry will be there and they'll chant his name or something ....lol.

I still think it's random as hell but so have all the other past guest hosts. Vince is hoping some C, B or A listers will take notice and give him the time of day. But it aint gonna happen so we will continue to be treated to random D and Z list hosts for time to come.

The closest thing we've seen to that A or B lister is Shaq, Snoop and Ced the Entertainer - I doubt we'll see any celebs remotely of that magnitude for as long as they have this host thing going.

That's totally true. And the sad part is Shaq, Snoop and Ced aren't exactly at the peaks of their careers. I don't know anyone who gives a rats ass about all three. If they could have gotten Labron for instance that would have been an epic and major achievement. He dissed the hell out of them though LMAO. Shaq promised he would host the following week in Cleveland and Labron took off to play golf with Buffet and some other billionaire instead.

That's like someone asking us to get excited over Chubby Checker or Kenny Rogers hosting? FTW? Where are the Will Smith's, Tom Cruise's or Angelina Jolie's. Those are stars.

If they hosted Raw, WWE would be bankrupt.
