WWE To Expand RAW To A 3-Hour Show?

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, there is talk within WWE of making RAW three-hours each week if TNA moves to Monday nights for good. There has also been talk of keeping the guest host storyline booked if TNA goes to Mondays. Apparently the USA Network is high on RAW going to three-hours but Vince and Stephanie McMahon are both said to be against it. Word is that this is something being talked about a lot among some in the company.

As long as there is time for the divas! WHOOPS They get treated like shit during most of three hour shows anyways.

and even sooo, that would mean wrestlemania would have to go 5 hours

Nitro use to always go 3 hours.

and Nitro went back to the 2 hour format before it went under...so it didnt work for them

I hope it dont go 3 hours. 2 hours is enough. PPVs are 3 hours. If PPVs went 4 hours they will cost more.

tbqh they have too many "three hour specials" as it is...i swear from Novemebr to December last year they had around 3 specials...thats in across like 5 or 6 Raws

maybe Vince isnt too stupid and can see that there isnt a need to compete with TNA cos they suck....doing a 3 hour show would just cost more money

There are ppl who want it to go to 3 hours, just to see more divas. No offense to the fans who want this or divas but the divas are not the priotiry anymore. I know it sucks but it is what it is.

If they cant make a 2 hour show good then what makes them think a 3 hour one will be good?

Yes I still watch but for my favorites. lol

3 hours is virtual suicide, because it's exhausting coming up with material for that format-ask Bischoff

no offence to janine...but the divas have never been the priority...its aint just about the current crop of models....divas since the late 90s have been having gimmick matches or basic matche that last no more then 4 minutes...just like now...WWE have never made the womens devision a priority...because they dont sell tickets

True but they did get a Main Even spot in 2004. Lita v Trish for the womens title. They dont get that anymore.

Im kinda glad they dont get main event spots anymore, becasue I dont think any of them draw like Lita and Trish did. Sad but true.

Im not saying none of them can draw, im sure they can but not as much as Lita and Trish.

i doubt the Lita/Trish main event was the ending of the show
i dont know i didnt watch the event
but im retty certain there woulda been a segment after that to end it
and even so one main event doesnt make them a priority
you will never see a diva match be a main attraction to a PPV

The show ended with Lita holding the title high.

yeah Lita, Trish and Chyna sold tickets. hell Jacqueline could have been made a big draw if they'd kept her as Cruiserweight champion. but the problem is that Vince has made it clear he only cares about T&A and none of the creative team seems to care about doing anything with the divas. the only reason they peaked or were allowed to in 2002-2004 was because they had Trish fighting for them behind the scenes
