Director Joe Johnston was out stumping the surprisingly (considering it suffered more hiccups than a backseat toddler that's not easily scared) good "The Wolfman" on the weekend, and considering his next project is the rather large-ish "The First Avenger : Captain America", most reporters seemed keener on hearing about Steve Rogers than Hirsute Horrors.
Happy to talk up the project, Johnston revealed that Red Skull would be the film's villain (Aint it Cool News), that 'The Invaders' will be fighting alongside Rogers (CHUD), that they're going to tone down the big guy's costume a tad, and that they're currently down to half-a-dozen 'American' actors - all relative unknowns- for the lead role (Collider).
Johnston says he has to find his Captain America by March 1st (might it be Ryan McPartlin? see our story here), so its likely we'll be hearing more official news shortly.
