Chyna to make wrestling history

According to a news report by Bill Apter of 1wrestling.com (a very reliable wrestling news reporter), Chyna is set to make wrestling history yet again this fall when she becomes the first woman to be inducted into the new "Inoki Federation Hall of Fame" which will debut in October 2010. The report says Chyna will be inducted for her work in the New Japan Pro Wrestling Federation.

Chyna is the only woman in New Japan Wrestling history to wrestle a man, the only woman in the world to hold number one contendership for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, the only woman to compete at the Tokyo Dome and the only wrestler of any gender told hold number one contendership for the IWGP Tag Team and World titles at the same time.

Chyna will be inducted along with Jushin Thunder Liger, Masahiro Chono and three others in the class of 2010.

Never was a real Chyna fan personally but she's contributed a lot to the business, and ignoring her impact is ridiculous. It's sad that WWE, the company that she did the most in (well apparently not in the case of NJPW), didn't do this first. Oh well.

when did she wrestle for them? I never even knew about that shit...just the WWE "got her man taken away from her by a McMahon then got her job taken as well' stuff lol

I'm guessing it was after WWE because she was still in good shape then.

i read her autobiography but she released while still employed by WWE so it has no mention of this indy stuff.

sounds like she had a nice post-WWE run until the drugs got in her system..which is good to hear. i always wondered where she went after WWE.

She's got another book called "Paper Doll" and I have a few of her matches from Japan, she was f'n awesome.

Same here Ssilva! The HOF should be about ppl that had great careers in the WWE and Vince needs to stop being a fucking jackass and induct those whom deserve it! (Chyna, Benoit, Sable, Macho Man etc)

I agree Blue. I loved Benoit he was one of my faves but I dunno if he will be in the WWE HOF, But his accomplishments should still be regonized, no one can take away those.

I think Chyna totally deserves to be in the WWE HOF. I wish they induct Jake The Snake Roberts. I wasnt watching when he was around but I did watch his dvd and hes overcame a lot.

They still haven't even inducted Randy Savage...Yet they have time for bloody Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler, who weren't WWE legends.

What he did was disgusting, I'm still a fan of his work and believe he deserves to get inducted! I know many lost respect for him after what he did, I get it man.

i think Chyna should be inducted. she did a lot for women in WWE along with Trish and she deserves it. i always hated how all the critics bashed her because she was a woman fighting men

It wasn't because she was a woman wrestling man, it was because she was a shitty wrestler being carried by men.
