| Rupert Wyatt ("The Escapist") will helm "Planet of the Apes : Caesar", the long-gestating "Conquest of the Planet of the Apes" remake, for Fox.
According to Production Weekly, it'll be monkey business from July, when the flick begins it's shoot at Mammoth Studios in Burnaby, BC.
The film, a prequel to Tim Burton's "Planet of the Apes", has been in the works for a couple of years now - with most of the town's major directors, including Robert Rodriguez and Kathryn Bigelow, passing on the project. | |

| WTF? Everything is getting a sequel now? geez!
I saw the 2001 version a long time ago and I forgot If I liked it or not but I do know that Mark Wahlberg was in it and he better be in the sequel or else what's the point? | |

Star Wars trilogies). The ppl from the 2001 movie won't be in this one | |

a prequel is not a sequel, it's a look into what happened with past events and why they happened in the present (ex. Star Wars trilogies). The ppl from the 2001 movie won't be in this one OH!!!! Prequels should happen before a sequel, I always get CONFUSED!  | |
