The Official WWE TLC PPV Discussion Thread

Updated.

So we are still to expect a chairs match, and a ladder match.

As far as matches go, we can expect to see:
Morrison vs Sheamus
IC Title- Kofi vs Ziggler (Probably ladder match/Unless Rey/Rio match has a unique stipulation).
Beth vs Laycool (one or both)
Cena vs Wade Barrett (I'll say Chairs match)

The main event is the same match type as last year's TLC ppv.

2009 - Sheamus vs (c) John Cena
2010 - Randy Orton vs (c) The Miz

The results to that match last year was a complete shocker. I'm thinking the match will probably end in a draw with both guys going through the table.

IDK if anything has been announced, but they might have Ziggler defend against both Swagger and Kofi.

I feel like the Nattie/Michelle match needs to be a ladder, because she has already faced McCool and Layla numerous times in singles matches. And they have a built up fued, unlike Kofi/Ziggler.

I gotta say, its awesome that Morrison is going for number 1 contendership for the world title.

If Morrison wins this, its safe to say Miz will retain- I see them two having a title match, because Sheamus/Miz won't happen, and Sheamus/Orton is stale.

It'll only happen as a continuation of the Miz is HBK, Morrison is Marty Jannetyy, bragging rights angle. Which is cool because WWE is in dire need of new main eventers, or a new main event.

I can see Miz holding the belt until WM27 where he'll lose to John Cena or Triple H.

Morrison will definitely win Sunday & Miz will retain. I don't see Miz holding the belt til Mania though. I think he'll lose at Elimination Chamber

I'd be kind of shocked considering how much support he has from Vince.

Probably Randy Orton if I had to guess. Depends on who wins the rumble. My prediction is Cena wins the rumble, Orton wins at Elimination Chamber then there's another Cena/Orton match at Mania.

Orton/Cena MUST not happen. Where's Vix with her bat when you need her? lol

Miz will get the upset win somehow, probably similar to the tables match of last year. Honestly this is a lame fued, I'm just so bored of Orton as a face and as champion. He needs to go back to the motionless heel, or the cocky heel because face just doesn't work for him personality-wise.

World Heavyweight Championship (TLC Match)
Kane (c) vs Edge vs Rey vs Alberto
Kane will either retain or Alberto will get the upset win (kind of hope he does just for something different). Edge definantly doesn't need anymore title victories, though he has been impressing me lately.

John Cena vs Wade Barrett ( Chair match)
Think its fairly obvious who will win this. Super Cena needs to take down the bad guy of course.

(Number One Contender To WWE Title)

John Morrison will be winning this, allowing them to go with Miz v Morrison fued, which will be interesting as it will be fresh. Sheamus/Miz won't work, and Sheamus/Orton has been overused.

I honestly don't see Laycool getting the upset victory, considering Nattie is moving on to Melina, and Beth needs revenge.

I disagree with you. Orton isn't the issue, the pg era that he's in is the problem. The gimmick was always meant to be as violent and ruthless and vicious as any person we've seen before. When he first became the Viper, or the guy with I.E.D.; chairshots to the skull were still legal. For obvious reasons, changes needed to be made to protect the performers and business. Bad timing for Orton, not a bad performance. He couldn't go back to being a the Legend Killer because he was hardcore then, and he was seen as a chick-magnet. Remember Evolution in NY making out with a bunch of chicks, drinking champagne? It's in his old titantron. There's so much more he could do during the tv-14 rating than he can do now because the program is angled toward children.

I still love Orton as a face personality wise. He was so stale as a heel
