Vickie Guerrero's Daughter Given New Name

Shaul Guerrero, the daughter of Vickie and Eddie Guerrero, is now going by the name of Raquel Diaz in FCW, reports LordsofPain.net.

Shaul signed with WWE back in October and has been training at the Tampa-based developmental territory since.

Shaul Guerrero, daughter of Vickie & Eddy Guerrero, was introduced as ‘Raquel Diaz’ in an interview segment with Caylee Turner. Despite the new name, her 3rd generation lineage was being discussed, the segment was interrupted by NXT season 3 diva A.J., who loudly repeated “EXCUSE ME”, then told Diaz it didn’t matter if her name was Raquel Diaz, Carmen Sandiego, or Chiquita Banana… Everybody knows the only reason made it there was because of her family. The two exchanged words as the interview ended.

AT LEAST they could have kept her last name.

I'm still trying to understand Tyler Black's new name... it's shittier than anything else they've ever come up with, except the bullshit they gave to Colt Cabana: Scotty Goldman. REALLY?

Hell, she's known because of her parents.

I'm sure that when/if she debuts I won't have a spec of a clue as to who she is. lol

The name change is attributed to the cheapskates in WWE, namely with the last name McMahon, who are so gotdamn greedy they give their guys copyrighted names to make money off them as much as possible and in any way possible. Gone are the days when you could make name for yourself just using your real name (if it was cool wnough, of course.) In the G era, it's all about money, the current programming is testament to that.

I don't know why they just don't change her first name but keep the Guerrero. Will be interesting if she debuts as a heel with her mom, or a face like Eddie. I'd love to see her with the Lie,Cheat and Steal gimmick if she can pull it off

i think a few superstars in FCW had different names when they were brought up to WWE tv.

they said they will acknowledge who her parents are but want them to have different last names for they can make creditblity on there own and not depend on the parents giving the person a push.
