WM Divas thread

Thought I'd start a thread to discuss all diva related Mania news, predictions etc.

-- One WrestleMania XXVII match that was changed was Kelly Kelly being replaced by Snooki as the tag team partner of John Morrison and Trish Stratus against Dolph Ziggler and LayCool. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter speculates that Kelly would appear in the babyface corner to counteract Vickie Guerrero in the other corner.

I would much rather have had Snooki in the faces corner and Kelly wrestling on the face team. Seems crazy that you've got the celebrity wrestling and the wrestler playing cheerleader.

As for plans for Eve and the title, I haven't a clue. Probably just all the divas thrown into some kind of battle royal for the title.

there's already 7 matches on the card and we know Taker's match will run long...it does every year. and they still haven't even added Big Show's potential tag match vs the Corre...AND the 2 mid card belts (IC and US)...

so i highly doubt there will be 2 diva matches. WWE already showed how they felt about the title in comparison to Mania when they had Cole take over the god damn divas title match last week.

Wrestlemania > divas title.

i predict the divas title feud will pick up after WM is over.

I think only one of thos midcard championships you mentione, vix, will make it on the card if they add a match.

The whole match is random, and I think it would suck withour without Kelly in the match. The match won't be that long.

yeah so add the midcard title match and then Big Show's tag match..that's 9 matches in 3 hours.

i don't see a divas title match making the cut.

I think a diva's title battle royal is a real possibility.

I would hope they would just have a lot of matches since it is WM..

10 matches 6 already confirmed plus the Corre tag match, IC, US, and Diva's title matches would make me really happy.

If they don't have anything for Kofi to do then before WM have a WM preshow battle royal with the winner getting a IC title shot at WM. Yeah some Raw guys would be in it but who cares the only real contenders imo would be Drew McIntyre, Ted DiBiase, and Sin Cara.

Either Drew or a surprise Sin Cara could win it and then face Kofi for the belt. Win or lose it would be a good match if given time.

The US should be a triple threat with Sheamus defending against Bryan and Bourne.

And the remaining divas should be in a battle royal:

Eve [c] v Melina v Beth v Natalya v Brie v Nikki v Tamina v Alicia v Rosa v Kaitlyn v Gail v Kelly v Maryse

*To get it to an better [14-16] either add one, two or all of the following: Naomi, AJ, and or Kong.

That would work out imo and gets nearly everyone a pay day.

I don't want all the divas in a battle royal as it'll be a clusterfuck . My preferred choice would be Eve vs Brie/Nikki . I don't understand why the WWE have to include as many on the card so they get a Mania bonus. Just give everyone one anyway for their work during the week leading up to the PPV and have a better quality event.

I don't know how long the Taker match will last as he's in reportedly pretty rough physical shape. However I can see a lot of segments with the Rock as well which will eat into matchtime. Though I love the Rock so can't complain.
