| -- Wade Barrett captured the WWE Intercontinental Championship from Kofi Kingston on this week's episode of WWE SmackDown!.
Just as Kingston was about to hit Trouble in Paradise on Barrett, The Corre member countered with Wasteland. Seconds later, he captured his first championship in WWE. Justin Gabriel hit Kingston with the 450 Splash following the match.
