WWE WrestleMania 27 drew 1,042,000 (1.04 million) PPV buys, according to a preliminary estimate released this week in WWE's monthly business report.
WWE did not include the split of domestic vs. international buys. In previous public comments on WrestleMania's performance, WWE has noted domestic buys were up 30 percent and international buys up 15 percent from WrestleMania 26.
In the monthly business figures as of April 30, WWE did not include a preliminary estimate for the Extreme Rules PPV that occurred on May 1.
WWE will report complete second quarter 2011 results later this year, which will include official PPV buys for WrestleMania, Extreme Rules, Over the Limit, and Capitol Punishment.
