November 19, 2011 at approximately 11:23 p.m., Silver Spring officers responded to the 7-Eleven store located at 12257 Tech Road for the report of a mass theft. Preliminary investigation revealed that approximately 50 teens and young adults simultaneously entered the 7-Eleven and stole items, to include snacks and drinks.

Well yeah but these flash mob robberies happen and end so quickly that unless the cops are very close it would barely do much. :-/
