2011 WD Year End Award Nominations Thread

So this is the 2011 Year End Award Nominations thread and I am your host for these awards, King Silva. Basically just like last year when MkGt [my co host] did his Top Flight Awards for 2010 people get nominated in a category if they won in the year. I spent a lot of time going over the past eight months of award winners to make sure my nominations were accurate however if anyone feels mine are no please pm me and I will try to update it asap if it is valid.

This year the awards were put on hold after August and it seems they may become a less frequent occurrence on the forum with maybe 4-5 awards in a given year? So because of that most awards had a max of 8 [or so] potential winners [some awards became inactive in the middle of the year or had repeat winners so their nominees for this ceremony are a lot less]. I felt that the categories that were available for most of the months of the previous 8 should all be present as not to be unfair to some people who won in that category so that's why they are.

*Just to make sure you can't vote for yourself in any category.

Like I said I spent a lot of time calculating the nominees so that should be the complete list of nominees.

Just to be clear the only person to win and not get their nominations for these awards was Kevin considering he is banned and I asked Mia about that beforehand. I did give him one of his though because I decided it was not fair to NCD to not give him his Best Duo of 2011 nomination so they are both on there since they did win in March of last year.

If he was still here and not banned he would have gotten 4 more nominations.

Looking this list over it sucks that some people don't have any nominations but I can't give nominations to people if they didn't already win the past year considering that is the qualifications for the nominations of the year end awards.. Sorry to those people but I do hope you can still send in your votes.

***The deadline for sending in votes [which will be send to me] for these awards will be days from now which is roughly 10 PM Pacific Time January 11th although I may extend it a few days if people need more time. However the latest I will extend this is Friday the 13th [ Shocked

] in January.

The winner[s] of each award[s] will be given a special signature made by my co host MkGt! I don't know much about that so maybe MkGt can post more about that later on.

Sorry but like I typed in red only people who won a category in the past 8 times we had awards can get nominated. I looked up ALL of the winners of the past 8 months in all categories and these were everyone who was eligible to be nominated.

I'm sure you were nominated a lot for last year's 8 award ceremonies however you just never won. :-/

So sorry but you do have 2 nominations which is more than some.

I now have 8 voters: Scott, Hailey, Mia, Tank, VLG, Venom, DL, and NCD!

I did send out a lot of pms last night so I do hope to get at least 5 more.

Some categories are still very open for someone else to swoop in and win so your vote counts!

Still not to 15 yet.

I voted which made it 13 however Minterz has not voted yet when I was counting on her to be # 14.

She still has time as does everyone else but the results should be posted tomorrow night because if it stops at 13 voters I guess I'll be content.

It's more voters than some awards have had. :-/
