Even More PPV Schedule Changes

Subject: Even More PPV Schedule Changes Thu 19 Jan 2012, 6:25 pm

WWE has made another change to their 2012 pay-per-view schedule, according to the event listing.

The Fatal 4 Way pay-per-view has replaced Bragging Rights for the month of June.

It also appears that they have dropped the TLC pay-per-view from December as Bragging Rights is now in the December slot.

Make sense to drop tlc ppv I never undrstood why there was an extreme rules ppv and a tlc when there both the same.

no, they really arent. TLC revolves around the use of just tables, ladders and chairs while extreme rules is everything

Taking away TLC is a WRONG choice imo.

TLC was great the three times it was a PPV imo and for me it was one of the better non Big 4 PPVs.

I though the point of Bragging Rights in June was so that it was not so close to SvS and now they basically made it the month after SvS and that is just stupid imo.

This news sucks.

Take a look a last year we had hhh vs nash in it wasn't even a tlc match.plus a couple of other matches as well.And who really wants to see a chairs match.

Again, the TLC PPV concept was tables...ladders...and chairs. The Nash/HHH match was a ladders match. Not every match HAD to be the TLC match, but the PPV concept revolved around those 3 items.

WWE officials have apparently decided to drop the Money in the Bank pay-per-view this July and replace it with another concept – the TLC pay-per-view. As noted before, they have been planning to bring the Money in the Bank ladder match back at WrestleMania this year.

Good call imo, it was pointless having both ladder match based ppvs. Its just sad they've already killed the tradition of the MITB at wrestlemania.

Yeah I like this better however I feel that TLC should stay as the Dec PPV and Bragging Rights or whatever the fuck they are thinking of would take the July PPV spot from MITB.

MITB at WM's tradition was broken however I guess they can just restore that.

The main good thing about a WM MITB is that a lot of good guys can get on the WM card in a match that should get at least 15 minutes.

I mean damn last year's WM had some tag matches that had < 5 minutes of time! The Corre losing to Show/Kane/Santino/? was just sad... And in the case of Dolph Ziggler and John Morrison they both were in a short 6 person tag match where they were not even tagged in and only got one or two spots I believe.

I miss No Way Out, Backlash, Judgment Day, Unforgiven, and No Mercy because those are classic PPVs imo. I grew up watching those ppvs and they all got taken away.

I like Elimination Chamber and Extreme Rules a lot and HIAC is okay too but I don't see why PPVS have to have gimmick set in stone.

They could easily do an Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out or say Unforgiven but they like it always being in February. I can sorta see why because they often use that as an alternate way to get to WM but I think it would be nice if that match was not always in February. Same goes for HIAC matches now basically only happening in October.

Why can't a HIAC match happen at Judgment Day in May instead of October?..

Idk gimmick PPVs are okay I just think they have too many and it makes it so the gimmick match that is the theme for that PPV can basically ONLY occur that month or it would happen too much in a year.
