| TNA wrestler and X-Division Champion Austin Aries, who is the longest
current reigning title holder in the company, is set to become the
longest reigning X-Division Champion in history. It has been 182 days
since Aries captured the belt on September 11th of last year, which ties
the previous record held by Christopher Daniels.
Austin Aries will defend the title against Zema Ion at TNA's "Victory Road" pay per view next Sunday. | |

| I knew he was close to breaking the record and just yesterday my friend and I were looking up the stats and he was tied with Daniels at 182 days so since it is now Monday he should have 184 days [when Monday is over].
Good for him he has been a great champ.
I would not mind if Ion won I just think that Aries should probably drop the belt at a big ppv to make it a little more special.
Lockdown or Slammiversary seem to be the best places. | |
