Lita vs Mickie James + Trish, Melina, Torrie, Candice, & others, 8-28-06

Yeah, they supposedly don't have enough time to fit the Divas into Raw, now, but... Two matches, the Trish backstage segment, the opening segment with Edge & Lita, and the Melina & Nitro promo, during a time when, frankly, there was a lot more going on on Raw than there is, today.

For one thing, they managed time a lot better, then, like with using a single segment to advance both the Edge-Cena & DX-McMahon feuds. The Trish-Carlito-Orton segment not only sets up Trish-Lita & Carlito-Orton at Unforgiven, but later that night Carlito interferes in Orton's match with Jeff Hardy for the #1 Contender spot for Nitro's IC title, setting up Nitro-Hardy for the PPV. So, that's five big PPV matches built with three segments. AND, they used the Torrie-Candice match to plug magazines, that month. Torrie and Candice were each on a cover, & they used the opportunity to plug Layla in SI, that week.

Strange that Layla actually got more attention on that Raw than she has as the Divas Champion the last couple of weeks.
