Death of 97-year-old man linked to ex-wrestler

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The death of a 97-year-old man who was reportedly pushed by former pro wrestling star Verne Gagne has been called a homicide.

While Wednesday's news release does not mention Gagne by name, Gutmann's wife and daughter have said the 83-year-old Gagne apparently threw Gutmann to the floor. At the time, both men suffered from dementia. Gutmann also had pulmonary disease.

Bloomington police are investigating.

Gagne wrestled at the University of Minnesota. He turned to pro wrestling in 1950 and wrestled into the early 1980s.

I haven't had the chance to look this guy up to see what he's all about, but if we can go so low just to talk about that boring subject; SEX.. we can discuss this WEIRD cause of death that this former wrestler might of caused.

I found this out the day after it happened. Verne Gagne had All Timers and he thought he was a wrestler again. So yeah...

I heard about this a while ago, I don't think the cops should investigate it though. It was a 97 year old he would of died like a week later anyway.

so who is this gange guy actually....does he have mental health problems...ive heard of him and im sure he has trained wrestlers...but im still a little hasy on the name

I really can't give ya a great description, but I know he's Greg Gagne's dad, behind one of those ancient promotions, AWA maybe? I really don't know, lol.......
