Breaking News: Ric Flair Health Scare At RAW

Ric Flair has been pulled from RAW after being sent to the hospital due to complications from a blood clot. WWE's medical team took a look at Flair's leg backstage and immediately pulled him from the show, sending him to a local hospital in Philadelphia. Flair was advised from there to return to Charlotte for further treatment.

Flair was set for a WWE Legends segment where he, Bret Hart and possibly Jerry Lawler would talk with the Rock and John Cena in a "Q&A" style bit. Flair was pulled from an All-Japan show in January due to the blood clot in his leg.

On behalf of all of us, best wishes to Flair for a quick recovery.

I read this yesterday so I almost though this was a thread saying something worse happened..

Thankfully it seem nothing has changed..

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was not hospitalized on Monday night after being pulled from Raw, according to a statement released by Flair's talent representatives on Facebook.

Legacy Talent and Entertainment said in a statement Tuesday that WWE's medical staff recommended Flair have his "swollen leg" examined by doctors in Flair's home area of Charlotte. The doctors determined that Flair had a blood clot, but "he was not admitted to the hospital, rather released with medication."

The statement continues that "doctors are confident" the medication "will work quickly causing Ric to completely heal soon."

Flair is scheduled to appear at an event in Hagerstown, Md. on Friday. As for another WWE appearance, the statement concludes that Flair looks forward to "performing for WWE very soon."

Ric Flair's agent, Melinda Morris Zanoni of Legacy Talent and Entertainment released the following statement given the overwhelming inquiries into Mr. Flair's health: "Ric is doing well, he feels great, and is home. WWE's medical staff performed a physical on Ric yesterday, like they do all of their athletes, and recommended that he have a doctor take a closer look at his swollen leg. Upon arriving back in Charlotte today he went to see his doctors and it was determined that there is a blood clot. He was not admitted to the hospital, rather released with medication, which the doctors are confident will work quickly causing Ric to completely heal soon. Ric appreciates everyone's concern and is looking forward to seeing fans at his next scheduled appearance in Hagerstown, MD on Friday and performing for WWE very soon."
