Christy/Aries Drama! Dixie/Spike TV Execs NOT Happy With Aries!! Officially Fined 5/15/13

- TNA Knockout Christy Hemme appears to be legitimately upset with Austin Aries. Aries put his crotch in Hemme's face on last Thursday's episode of Impact after she messed up the introductions for Aries and Bobby Roode. When asked about it via Twitter, Hemme replied:

I don't think he actually put his nuts in her face it looked more like a joke.Shes needs to get over it.I mean Lillian Garcia Botches more than her you didn't see her bitching when Charlie haas accidentally bumped into her she took a better bump then the Bella twins and Kaitlyn can ever pull off.

it's incredibly unprofessional of him to act like that. if he was that annoyed he could have just grabbed the microphone and corrected her which would have been better than borderline sexually harassing her. there's no call for embarrassing someone like that on national television

if that is sexual harassment, we might as well say matt morgan sexually harassed the turnbuckle padding as well.

I knew Christy was a lesbian.

As previously reported, Christy Hemme tweeted that Austin Aries was "unacceptable" when he backed her into a corner, climbed to the second rope and putt his groin in front of her face during iMPACT! after Hemme incorrectly introduced Bad Influence for their match. Aries had made reference to the tweet on his own account, noting:

"Pretty nuts, some of the junk people get the balls to say over the net, knowing they couldn't to your face...Eh, anyway, time to sack out."

When asked whether Hemme was legitimately bothered by the incident, someone within TNA said, "Of course, she was. How would you react? It's one thing if that was set up as a work earlier in the day, and even then our girls would have to reassure our agents over and over again that they would be okay with that spot before it got approved for television." The source added the opinion that Hemme was "technically sexually harassed."

Spike TV, TNA’s American television outlet, has gone on record about the incident as well. WrestleZone.com received a statement from Spike TV’s Senior VP of Communications David Schwarz, who said on behalf of the channel, “We have a zero tolerance policy for sexual harassment. We discussed [the incident] with our partner. [Aries is] being disciplined.”

Schwarz continued, “I’m trying to get more information on what action is being taken. Dixie Carter took this very personally. He will be disciplined. Again, we have a zero tolerance policy for sexual harassment. I’m not sure specifically how [the discipline] will be handled. To what extent, I don’t know. This is certainly something we don’t condone and don’t tolerate. Such behavior is not welcome. I think that a statement of some sort will be coming. That’s being worked out. But immediate action will be taken.”

So far, Austin Aries has not officially acknowledged the incident, though he tweeted a message full of testicle jokes on Sunday that was obviously meant to make light of it all.

There going to far here it wasnt all that serious.Its not like he actually grabed her hair and put her face in it.It only happend for a quick second.

The incident of sexual harassment by TNA star Austin Aries on Knockout Christy Hemme has already prompted messages of disapproval from TNA President Dixie Carter and Spike TV, and now it’s reached the front page of TMZ.

The celebrity news website has dug into the story and found that Austin Aries has been given a “severe fine” as punishment for the act. The amount of the fine is unknown, nor is it known if action was taken before or after Spike TV made its displeasure known.

In addition, TMZ reports that Aries has reached out to Christy personally to apologize, and that she is satisfied with his apology.

If what TMZ is reporting is true, this could signal the end of this particular controversy.

May it have bren inappropriate? Perhaps. Everyone's tolerance for certain behaviors, are different.

Did he try to sexually assault her? No. Can we move on now.

Yes we really need to move on because this was very stupid.

I'm also glad this is over.

Hopefully stuff like this doesn't happen anymore.
