| TNA has released former X-Division, TV and Tag-Team champion Douglas Williams from his contract. Williams had been training talent in OVW for the company since last summer.
Williams is the second release, following that of announcer Todd Keneley. It is possible that TNA may release more names for cost-cutting purposes. | |

Alex Silva and Jesse Sorenson have quietly been removed from the TNA website. Sorenson has an active backstage role with the company in the production team, but Silva has likely [been] released like Douglas Williams and Todd Keneley. Silva won the first Gut Check but suffered a concussion and had been out of action.
