Report: AJ Styles' TNA Contract Expiring

AJ Styles' TNA contract is up in September, and the two sides have yet to come to a new contract. Word is that there has been very little attempt by TNA to get a new deal done. There had been speculation that this was the case for a few weeks, but it has now been confirmed.

If Styles' contract expires, it would not be the first time that this has happened as the contracts of Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode and Devon all expired before they could be re-signed.

Styles has been one of the company's featured stars since the company opened back in 2002, and was the focus of the original X-Division, a multiple time world champion and has been in many of the company's greatest matches.

To add more fuel to the fire, the following was posted on Styles' Facebook today…

"Where do fans want AJ Styles to be? TNA? WWE? ROH? Japan? Lots of options. Tough decisions."

I think Styles will hint that he might end up elsewhere, but ultimately sticks with TNA. When is TNA going to learn their lesson and not wait until the last minute to get an extension? This ends up costing them more money, and risks their investments.

Say Styles does end up going to WWE, everything they invested in him push wise, would be for the competitor.

They better Renew his contract.Hes WAY too talented AJ is the TNA original and deserves more money.I even throw AJ up there with CM Punk and Daniel Bryan if TNA gets rid of AJ I will stop watching he's Really the only reason why I'm into TNA as it is.

I think WWE would sign him and regulate him to lower mid-cards. TNA might not be able to keep Styles unless he takes a pay-cut, and at this point in his career, he should be getting a pay raise, not the opposite.
