| Subject: TV Ratings Are In For "No Surrender" 9-12-13 Impact Sat 14 Sep 2013, 9:54 am | |

TNA's "No Surrender" Impact on Thursday, September 12 scored a 1.08 rating, up one-tenth of a rating from last week's show.
It was the highest rating since "Destination X" Impact in July.
Despite the overall rating increasing, the key male demos were flat with last week's show. It reflects TNA's older-skewing audience outside of males 18-49 likely returning to Impact this week.
- Impact averaged 1.389 million viewers, up six percent from last week's average of 1.310 million viewers.
TNA's third "free TV special" this year ranked in the middle compared to the previous two specials...
7/18 Destination X - 1.494 million viewers 8/15 Hardcore Justice - 1.319 million viewers 9/12 No Surrender - 1.389 million viewers
More details to follow...
Caldwell's Analysis: A solid performance for Impact considering they were going against two big-market football teams in the New England Patriots and New York Jets in a tightly-contested (albeit sloppy) football game. Despite the BFG Series being poorly-executed this year, there is something to the idea that when a promotion hammers home a concept for three months, people will want to see the conclusion, even if the journey was a bumpy ride. Bully Ray vs. Mr. Anderson likely drew an audience, too, but we do not have quarter-hours yet to confirm that. | |
