Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Refuse Youtube Founder's Offer To Pay Charity As Settlement

Quote :: Radar Online reports that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West recently turned down an offer from Youtube founder Chad Hurley to settle their legal battle by making a donation to charity. Instead, they want the money for themselves. They sued Hurley after claims that his leaked video of their engagement hurt them financially.

A source said: "Chad wanted to make a donation to a charity just to make it go away. But Kim and Kanye didn't want the money to go to a charity, they want it to go directly to them."

The couple aired the engagement on Keeping Up With The Kardashians in a two-part special. Hurley will see them in court on November 17, as Judge Ruth Kwan ruled on Friday. It's possible they will reach a settlement before then, but it doesn't seem likely. On March 14, the two filed a motion to stop Hurley's request to have the case dismissed under California's anti-SLAPP statute. They claimed that they "generally object to the entirety" of Hurley's argument. The judge ruled in their favor.

The source added: "Chad really doesn't think he did anything wrong."
