Warner Bros CEO Kevin Tsujihara confirmed that the upcoming "Harry Potter" spin-off, called "FantasticBeasts and Where to Find Them," will be a trilogy of big-budget movies.
"FantasticBeasts and Where to Find Them" is based on a Hogwartstextbookthat we saw in the "Harry Potter" movies. It was written by fictitious author Newton Artemis Fido 'Newt' Scamander and is requiredreadingfor first-year students.The bookcontains magical creatures and characters some of which appeared in the "Harry Potter" films.
The moviewill focus on Scamander and will be an original story created by Rowling, who is also writing the screenplay, a first for her.Daniel Radcliffewill not return, since the spin-off takes seventy years before Harry Potter arrives at the magical school.
