Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that morale in TNA is up right now, coming off a successful Slammiversary PPV in Dallas just two weeks ago. The Impact Wrestling ratings have been going up, the tapings last week were said to be some of the best in years, and as the company heads towards its Bound for Glory PPV this October, things are said to be looking up. Another big factor is that paychecks have all been going through, and people have – for the most part – been getting paid on time.

However, there is still some concern about the future of the company, particularly because a renewal deal has still not been made with Spike TV. At this time there's no major reason why a deal can't or won't be reached, but the uncertainty alone is enough to have a few people worried.

Some of the stars that have contracts expiring soon are also concerned, given that TNA has released AJ Styles, Sting, Christopher Daneils and Kazarian this year, and the feeling is that anybody could be let go. For what it's worth, Styles left because of the money, and Sting wasn't expected to re-sign anyways.
