ABC’s daytime soap All My Children will move from shooting in New York to Los Angeles in 2010, according to Variety. The network confirmed the long-bubbling rumor on Tuesday and added that sister soap One Life to Live will move into Children’s old New York digs once it vacates. The change will allow both shows to start broadcasting in high-definition, as well as save the network a significant amount of money. ABC’s daytime soap General Hospital also films in L.A.
