| So I'm watching some Martina McBride special on CMT and I got to thinking, just who is the best Female Country Artist? Or Who is your Favorite?
I happen to like quite a few Country gals.
The Vets
Reba Macentire and Dolly Parton- Both have great hits and are still going strong as far as I know. I loved Reba's country version of "Because Of You" featuring Kelly Clarkson.
The Leanne's
Who doesn't love Leann Rimes? I absolutely love her songs "I need You" and "How Do I". Speaking of Leann's, any Leann Womack fans in here? You may know a song called "I Hope You Dance" love it.
The Powerhouses
Basically the most popular of the girls, Faith Hill and Shania Twain. These girls were killing the country scene in the 90's especially Faith Hill.
The Underated
Martina McBride and Sara Evans fall in this category, both are always overlooked especially Sara Evans. Has she ever recieved a Grammy Nomination? I really love these two the most. Sara Evans had a great song with "These Are The Moments" and a few others. Martina McBride had "Independace Day" "Anyway" and This one's for the Girls"
The Next Generation
Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler and Taylor Swift fall in this category. Miranda Lambert too but I dont really care about her:lol: I love the first three though. Carrie already won some grammies so here is hoping the other 2 get some time to shine.
Others
I also like The Dixie Chicks/ Sugarland and Gretchen Wilson.

| I like Miranda Lambert, I think its good shes finally getting some attention. Her songs are amazing and shes a good singer.
Carrie is good too but I dont like her I think shes too overrated, Kellie is begging to be too overplayed and Taylor is Way too overplayed.
I also like Martina, Faith Hill.
