The 9/11 Tribute Thread...

Its almost 8 years since this awful event happened. No matter what anyone says about who did or didnt do it, whether Bush knew or not etc, i just want to pay my respects to everyone who was effected by this horrible day and the events that unfolded on that sunny tuesday morning.

I personally recall hearing the news while I was at school. Parents were picking up there kids and I knew something was up, soon after my mom picked me up.

I thought it would be nice for anyone to share tributes or stories about this day. Ok its just a forum thread but i wanted to pay my respects in the manner i knew how

God bless everyone whose life this terrible and horrific event effected in any way.

Its hard to watch the footage 8 years later without feeling pain, nothing on the scale of those directly hurt obviously. I just think about all the times we have moaned about having a bad day or moaning about my boss etc. Then i watch some footage and it brings me to reality.

i was in school. my mom picked me up early which made me mad because we were having a class party. we had a mexican buffet going and music just for me to get a slip saying my mom was coming to take me home. i was so mad lol

but then i saw what happened and I was shocked.

God bless to everyone that died in the Bush attacks. May you all rest in peace, and that Bush burn in hell for doing this to you.

I felt sad watching it happened in all my classes we were in we mainly canceled classroom agendas and watched it on the tv the entire school day.

I was in 7th grade when this happened. And I was on my way to school on the bus. And that all the teachers talked about all day.

RIP Everyone who lost their lives that day.

I think School was out for a few days after that.

in 2001 i was in like 9th or 10th grade.

Well actually I take it back, I was in 8th grade at the time. I remember because thats when I was living in Florida and in October we moved back to Ohio and everyone thought we moved bc of the attacks.

I Was in School when this happened had no clue wat happened till teachers told the Class Got Picked up by Parents later on that day my father got called into work cause he works For Con Edison my Father was lucky he never made it into the city or he could Be Dead may All The People that Died on 9/11 RIP

I was young then and I didn't think much of it until everything was explain. I feel bad for everything that occurred that day now no doubt.

I was sleep when it happen. But I did hear the audio and I started dreaming about it. It was weird. If only it was just a weird dream.
