It's being reported that Kevin Fertig's tryout match with TNA against Kip James did not fare very well for the former WWE star. While most officials were impressed with Fertig's look, they felt he lacked in ring ability, and are uninterested in bringing him into the company at this point.
In related TNA news, it's also being said that there will most likely be no big creative shakeups in the company until after Bound For Glory. Vince Russo has already written most of the shows leading up to the PPV, and Dixie Carter feels that those plans should remain in place and that the company can have a fresh start after their big PPV.
