Hogan says WWE wanted to "bury" Hulkamania

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan says WWE wanted to keep him out of the promotion by burying Hulkamania in the grave, which is why he’s starting his own promotion to bring Hulkamania to wrestling fans. “World Wrestling Entertainment wanted to put me out to pasture, to put me out to the graveyard, but I’m ready to fight for another title,” Hogan told the Sunday Telegraph in Australia. “The WWE has this mindset, it wants to push young stars even if the fans want to see Hulk Hogan so we’re doing this on our own.”

Hogan is promoting ticket sales for his Hulkamania Tour in November by getting the fans in Australia behind him against big, bad WWE. He said he’s even thinking of moving to Australia to start over in his life, which also suggests this will be a regularly-occurring wrestling tour. The newspaper story opened with a look at Hogan being mobbed by people at restaurants in cities throughout Australia while he’s in town promoting the tour. Hogan encouraged future ticket sales by hyping the intensity surrounding the tour.

“With this divorce happening and my kids are grown, I’m sitting here thinking this might be a great change for me to find a nice little pad on the beach somewhere,” he said. “It’d be great to just work right out of here.”

I don't mind if he goes out to create his own promotion. People will still pay money to see him. Just like people will pay to see flair. A legendary name will always draw in money and when your on live events and tours it makes sense to not push your young talent for indy style events because the fans are see to see the legends normally. Him and WWE ain't a fit right now maybe somewhere down the road they can work together on something else. But he ain't a fit for them at all on a roster.

i wouldnt want Hogan to come to WWE, id have had a small thought of him ending me of this torture known as Guest Host, and be a full time GM, but how long before he starts wrestling and is ME a WM again

Just like he wanted to "bury" the younger talent. I mean, he wouldn't even put Shawn over. I'm so suprised he lost to the Rock so dominatedly at wrestlemania.
