Add another high-profile collaborator to the list of folks working on Kris Allen’s debut disc. The American Idol season 8 champ announced via his Twitter stream that he’s currently working with Eg White, who penned Grammy-nominated “Chasing Pavements” with acclaimed British diva Adele, as well as tracks for Pink, James Blunt, Kylie Minogue, Duffy, Joss Stone, Sophie Ellis Bextor, and Sam Sparro. Allen announced the partnership with White in the form of a riddle, asking his followers to guess the writer’s identity based on the clue “low-fat breakfast food,” then eventually giving up the scoop after one fan speculated correctly. (Nope, apparently Allen is not working with R&B trio Total, but an Idoloonie can always dream…)
