It was announced by Filmax earlier this week that the Spain opening of REC 2 (review) was a major, major success. With that said, it should come as no shock that the studio/producers are already planning for the third entry. A new website was launched that teases a third entry. Go forth and bookmark Rec3LaPelicula, which states "Proximamente" (Soon). In an exclusive interview with Bloody-Disgusting, co-creators/co-directors Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza told us that they would NOT return to direct, but will be involved at some capacity. REC 2 is to be released here in the States by Sony Home Entertainment. Blu-ray please?
