What if Beth never got injured?

So as we all know, Beth Phoenix was originally brought onto the main roster in 2006, as Mickie James' former friend. She attacked the then Women's Champion Mickie several weeks, but was unfortunately injured at the hands of Victoria. The storyline was then dropped.




^ This interview happened one week after Beth went down with an injury. I believe this was the last time they mentioned her on TV, as she only returned more than a year later.

So...what if Beth never got injured? What do you think was the reason for them hating each other so much? And how different the careers of these ladies would be had the storyline continued?

I think they were gonna go with the same Stalker thing, If I remember correctly I think it was said that they were friends but something happen. So I think it was the same as Trish. Mickie stalked her and eventually turned on her so Beth wanted some revenge for what she did to her or whatever.

We might've gotten a Victoria vs Beth feud like I had been dreaming about since Day One.

I think Beth would kinda be burned out like Mickie is now, I'm trying to think of all the divas that were around then, and how they could have helped push the story line along, and what did Beth do while she was off for a year?, I just keep thinking that her getting hurt and returning when she did was a good thing, because of how everything worked out, I'm not happy she was injured, but she's been pretty successful, I just like how everything ended up working out.

maybe it was a "more then friends" storyline like they had been doing with mickie and trish.

I dont really know. I think a Beth v Victoria feud will have happend.

Triple Threat: Mickie, Beth and Trish

I would say WWE would have someone else to go to aside from Mickie. This was an opportune moment for Beth Phoenix and she would have been huge if this went through. WWE seems to doubt in the girls a lot and never go to in depth with storylines, if Beth went through with this and built a bigger fan base and more confidence in Management, things might have been diffrent for her.

Beth has been one of the most pushed Divas since her return in 2007. It's not like she HASN'T been in a storyline. It's not like she HASN'T has "big time" matches. Beth just isn't over and we have seen what we can do in the ring. All that's left for her is to be that solid heel veteran that makes the faces look okay-ish in the ring.

It would have changed history of course. .

If she never was injured I would predict that she would have won the women's title off of Mickie. They would have feuded for the belt.

That would have meant no Lita 3rd and 4th title reign so I am pretty happy how it turned out.

It would also have made Trish vs Lita not for the title if Beth was the champ.

I think she is good enough without that year under her belt. She still got the title within 4 or so months so I wouldn't change anything.
