6 Divas Tag (Bragging Rights)

Six of WWE’s Divas will have the opportunity at WWE Bragging Rights to prove their respective brand consists of the smartest, sexiest and most powerful women.

Women’s Champion Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix and Natalya will represent Team SmackDown, while Team Raw will include Divas Champion Melina, Kelly Kelly and Gail Kim.

If it wasn’t for this month’s Tri-Diva trade, orchestrated by SmackDown and ECW General Managers Theodore Long and Tiffany as well as recent Raw special guest host Nancy O’Dell, the makeup of these teams would have been considerably different. Melina, after being dealt from SmackDown to Raw, dethroned Jillian that very night to become just the third Diva in WWE history to capture the Divas and Women’s Title in her career. (McCool was the first ever to accomplish this feat earlier this year.)

The Glamazon, meanwhile, didn’t hide her initial displeasure about being shipped over from Raw to SmackDown. Though it didn’t stop the former two-time Women’s Champion from putting the current Women’s Champion on notice. And she wasn’t the only one; less than a week ago, Team SmackDown co-captain Chris Jericho emphasized to Michelle just how important it is that she represent the blue brand well.

Ultimately, showing no jealousy will be essential for all participants in this match. It’s no secret that Phoenix and Natalya desire to become Women’s Champion as it is for Melina’s teammates to become Divas Champion. But first they must concentrate on their opponents at WWE Bragging Rights – not on the gold they hope to obtain in the future.

Let's hope we see some gail Kim - Beth/Natalya action, it's probably the only thing that i'm looking for for this match. Plus wouldn't Eve havebeen a better choice then Kelly? Since she did have a mini-fued with Natalya? Beth & Melina have history, Gail Kim & Michelle have history when Gail Kim debuted...but What connection does Kelly & Natalya with all the other girls with the exception that Beth has beaten Kelly 101 times??

yeah i watched them advertisin it on raw. and once i saw Melina.Gail and Kelleh from the game,i knew Layla would be not in it, as she aint in the game for some reason >.<

I hope Melina wins by pinning Michelle. I think Beth and Michelle will have some miscommunications.

Really, Kelly is on another PPV. Why didn't they go with Eve or one of the Bella's if they were looking for faces????? And I thought the team stuff didn't matter in terms of face or heel. Hell HHH's team has heels and faces if my eyes didn't decieve me on monday. FTW. The women's division is soooooooooo boring.

I seem to be the only one that understands Sarcy, she said live fail as in the audience, as in none of the heels get much reaction from the crowd. And its kinda true, but its not there fault, they need to give the crowd a reason to boo them and thats where the bookers come in

They have given enough reason to boo Beth. She bullied the "loveable" faces in Candice, Kelly, Mickie and Melina. She tried to slap around legendary Diva Trish Stratus while dissing Canadia. Hell, she even tried to tell Santino/a to cut the dumb shit out. Beth has done everything a heel should do.. But she's not over.

They should just use her in that Molly role while trying out a new chick.

She did get boo'ed in Canada when she dissed Trish lol. But this is a era of womens wrestling where the fans just dont give a fuck anymore. Can't blame them with the shitty booking :ewwa:

To be honest most of the divas have no depth in their charcters. All the faces smile like jackasses and point at the audience . The heels scowl and frown and do weird magician shit in their entrances and ring.

I don't know. Half of it is booking but the other half are in these one dimentional women. They need to take a page out of Vickie G's book. That lady can cut a promo and get the crowd to do what she wants when she wants.

I disagree. You mentioned Edge - what is the one thing that both have in common? They are munipulative people who'll pretty much do anything to get what they want.

I was so happy when this match was made. It is better than a one on one match because it would most likely have been Melina/McCool and that has happened like 5 times of more.

Team SD WON<3333 Stream fucked up right when Gail and Beth locked up so I missed a good portion of the match, Beth won with Glam Slam though

Go Beth but I feel bad for Melina. I hope on Raw tommrow Jillian rags on her for it, starting their feud.

she's the only diva who has made me go from hating her guts to tolerating her. I actually was satisfied and ok with her win over Gail on Superstars last week. Cause we all know Gail could mop the floor with her. Kelly actually came out looking like one day....she will be a top centender for the belt.

I didn't get to see the full match, but I'm sure Kelly Kelly will soon be lined up for a Championship match in the next month or so.. she deserves it `

Kelly did do good in that match. I think she will get it after who ever beats Melina for it.

From what I saw of the match I must say I'm pretty impressed and OMG SD won for once and they pinned Melina to do it so I'm happy

Glad to hear Beth finally got a win (heels winning period). Anyway, I hope Jillian does end up fueding with Melina. I would like to see Maryse come back and join forces again with Alicia. Alicia and Maryse make a great team and have a similiar look.

^Maryse and Alicia will be a cool team have them team up against Gail and Kelly.

The Diva match was ok. Nothing to amazing here, with a lot of people using it as a bathroom/food/drink break. Melina's screaming is just as loud in the arena, as it is on TV. We were pretty far back from the ring, and hear her without any issues.

Paul Burchill challenging for the ECW title is somewhat shocking, and the fans wont care for someone who is not used on a regular basis, so his "no reaction" is understandable...what i dont get is how he could have non, yet he gets a chorus of boo's...surely thats a contradiction

After seeing the match I think that it was well done. It was a decent amount of time at about 7 minutes and showcased all of the divas involved. I was happy that the better team of Beth, McCool, and Natalya won but Beth pinning the diva's champ is kinda dumb because it makes her look weak imo.
