Mickie James thinking of reitrement

According to those close to Mickie James, the multi-time women's champion has begun contemplating leaving World Wrestling Entertainment in order to retire.

As noted earlier, James, who is now 30 years old, has been very frustrated with her standing in the company in recent months. It has also come to light that she has been working with a debilitating arm injury. As a result, James has begun contemplating leaving the industry which she has spent the last ten years in.

James has prepared herself for life after wrestling as she began pursuing a college degree online a few years ago. She has received her Associate of Arts degree in business administration and at last word, is studying for her Bachelor of Arts degree in operations management.

"I felt like I needed to do this, and I wanted something to fall back on. You never know — if I got hurt or something like that — where would I go from there?" James told WWE.com in a 2006 interview. "I set myself up so I'm prepared, no matter what."

By earning her bachelor's degree, James will be able to open and run her own businesses — something she has many ideas about.

"I've always wanted to run my horse farm. So I'd definitely like to have a background to understand that," she said, referring to her lifelong passion for horses."

Aww I will miss her. I wish her all the best. If she does retire I hope she gets a proper send off.

Know what's so funny? WWE has the girls to be, better and bigger then Trish...yet they fail to use them.

At least she was smart enough to persue a degree. I know Trish & Sharmell also have Bachelor degrees.

The female divas need to get on the ball and follow what most of the males do. Get a freakin education to fall back on. Kofi, Kane, Edge and many male wrestlers have college educations.

I mean at least Mickie can go out there and not get cheated financially and will be able to move forward if she so chooses. Hell even you plan on ass shaking all your life you better know what's up. Nothing is worse than knowing less than the person managing your finances. I bet many of these divas will be doing some odd ass jobs in 10 years. By that I mean escort services and things of that classy nature.

i dont think that's it. Numerous reports have said she's been unhappy for months.

so i doubt this was a sudden decision as a result of being moved to SD. she's probably been contemplating it for months.

That's true. I remember that the reports of her being unhappy have been around almost all year. Even when she had title reigns. It could be that there is backstage stuff that might be getting under her skin. And lets not forget these people travel ALLOT! Maybe the combination is making her evaluate her situation.

then why wait till after being moved to SD...to have it out in the open? she could of retired before winning the Divas title, but she didnt

I hear that. I'm suprised Lilian lasted 10 years as she said. There were always reports of HHH demeaning her backstage. Heck, why wouldn't he do that when he called her horse and other things on live t.v. LOL, I remember JBL called her a horseface on Raw as well.

The WWE has no code of conduct, harassment laws or hazing laws like most companies in the world. I would imagine saving your money and making a timely exit is the best route.

I don't mind really. She's been really sloppy the past year. At least she would leave on her own terms at not being released.

I really hope she doesn't because that would really suck. I just think that she needs a month or two off so they should make her 'break her wrist or something like that'. .
