Smackdown DIVAS Discussion

I actually liked it, Mickie seems to be really happy on Smackdown. I just felt a good energy from her with this match. But I was really impressived with Layla's bumping in this, that used to be a huge problem of hers so it is really nice to see her improve in that department. She sold all of Mickie's moves really well and had the chance to use some moves she never used. I think this was way better then Gail Kim/Kelly but that's just me

I thought the match was a lil rushed tbh. If the match was longer it coulda worked a lot better, the two had just gotten into a rythym before it had to be ended.
I understand the reasoning for the match being short again, as they are making Mickie look stronger, and defeating Layla in 3 mins is more impressive then if it took her 8 minutes or so.
I am happy WWE always seem to allow Layla to get some offense, and she pulled some OK looking reversals too.
Layla in Baby Pink was the highlight for me. and STRAIGHT HAIR

The match was "eh." to me.

Layla looked great.. Though I think the bright color/black lining style of attire looked really great as oppose to a monotone one like she wore. I liked that weird half cradle/schoolgirl pin she did. It does look a little weird when she goes for power moves. But, I like when she does some technical stuff. I am still waiting for her to pin someone with that hiptoss reversal pin. haha

Mickie managed to get through 3 min without botching in what seems like forever. I liked the finish. Layla blocks the whip to the turnbuckle only for Mickie to catch her with the kick.

it seemed to be some miscommunication but idc. Layla looked great tonight an dMickie looked good.

I love seeing them work together.

I think it's because Layla is so used to taking moves that she gets into position before the other chick is ready to do the move. Like that dropkick Mickie did early in the match.

You all know how I bitch about people who don't sell in matches. Layla's selling looked a lot better in this match. That neckbreaker spot looked cool to me cuz Layla twisted around. Kinda weird. Then when she got that kick, Layla proved that she is the best Diva when it comes to "acting dead". haha


In the end.. I still didn't like the match. Just didn't click for me.

the ending was very nice, especially with Layla acting knocked out.

I thought the match was pretty decent. Layla just keeps getting better. I loved everything she did.

The backstage segment was funny. I loved it when Mae slapped Michelle.

Everyone looked good tonight, even Vickie.

I thought the match was ok, or "eh" as you put it. There were a few miscues on Layla's falls, and that kick wasn't the best either at the end of the match. But overall, I saw it as an decent match.

Happy to hear Layla has a new look and is still getting more matchees. I was a bit worried about her for a while now. The smackdown roster does have the better female wrestler roster now. It will be interesting to see how they will cover for all the green talent on the Raw brand. Gail and Jillian have allot of work to do.

Im still worried about Layla to be honest lol. I like that shes got a proper attire now, and not random bits haha. But as u said shes still on the show with 4 talents. The best we can expect is her to be the jobber, which is kinda what she is anyway lol. but at least as a jobber, she still has a job ahha
