Cody Rhodes says he "needs" to wrestle Shawn Michaels, would be happy on ECW

WWE wrestler Cody Rhodes says he "must" get that singles match against Shawn Michaels, who he was a fan of growing up. Rhodes has said in previous interviews he was a bigger fan of Michaels than his dad, Dusty Rhodes, as a kid.

"I want to wrestle Shawn Michaels, I need to wrestle Shawn Michaels," Cody said on the Monday Night Mayhem radio show this week. "It would prove a great deal to me."

Interestingly, Cody said he would be open to moving to the ECW brand. He said he would like to work a program with his brother, Goldust.

"I would very much like to wrestle my brother Dustin (Rhodes), I'll love to wrestle Goldust," he said. "It would be a real treat to me plus to be on ECW On Syfy, I would greatly enjoy that."

even he knows ecw is the best brand right now LOL

plus, hed be in the SD environment as theyre on the same day tapings wise. wouldnt have to worry about anyone holding him down there, unlike Raw

It's really Good to see someone like Cody Rhodes to say something like that... ECW would be a Nice place for him, but if he was too go anywhere's it would be Smackdown! but I would like to see him stay on RAW as long as he can.. Cody Rhodes vs. Shawn Michaels would be a kick ass match up, & so wouldn't a match against Goldust`

LOL. He's feeling that RAW blessing isn't he . He would get more time in the ring if he was on ECW though. Heck, he'd get more time if he was on Smackdown.
