The head of the Wine School of Philadelphia says the school is considering a plea to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office to have WWE's ownership of the "Smackdown" trademark revoked. This is the latest twist in the ongoing battle between WWE and the school.
Keith Wallace of the Wine School told "Unflitered" that he plans to counter-file with the PTO office to have WWE's trademark cancelled.
Wallace claims he is being picked on by WWE after his school tried to file a trademark for "Sommelier Smackdown." Last month, it became public knowledge that WWE issued a cease & desist letter to the school trying to prevent them from registering the trademark.
