Details on Eric Bischoff's role in TNA Wrestling

According to a TNA source, Eric Bischoff will be partnering with TNA via Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment. Bischoff was instrumental in Hulk Hogan signing with TNA and will be working with TNA going forward in creating new TNA television product and in securing television deals for those entities. TNA has been looking at expanding their television product as their newest SpikeTV deal allows them to shop new series outside of Spike, should Spike pass on them. In the past, TNA has looked at launching series for the Knockouts, The X-Division and the Jeremy Borash-hosted Spin Cycle.

While we may see Eric Bischoff at some point appearing on TNA programming, he’s more going to be partnering with TNA behind the scenes, as opposed to working day to day creatively. Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment have produced a number of reality series, most notably the excellent VH-1 Scott Baio series and CMT’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling.

TNA is building itself up to be a competitor to WWE soon...then we will see if they've learned from WCW's mistakes once they get there

I really think they will, they are older and hopefully wiser and they better not repeat the same mistakes. Eric coming to TNA is awesome, I loved him as Raw's GM. He brought spice! Paul Heyman can't be far behind!

Blue why do u think EVERYONE who once worked for WWE that has some sort of heat with them will go to TNA?

Bischoff never said he was done with wrestling; Heyman did

As hated as Bisoff is, I respect him and I hope he has some booking control. He built WCW into an awesome show. He made some key mistakes, but hindsight is 20-20, and I think he'll be smarter this time around.
And I also beleive he wasnt the reason WCW failed.
Id rather see him with the book than Hogan, thats for sure.

You seriously think that's the ONLY connection Eric and TNA will have?

Eventually he'll be doing something (Hopefully Creative and Booking) Eric is fantastic with the ideas he comes up with

Bischoff and Hogan seem too closely tied for my liking.

Hogan with Bisoff is alot better than Hogan on his own. Bisoff has a really good head for the business.

^yes but if Hogan doesnt agree with his view...i think TNA will mostly go with Hogan
