Jay Lethal....Legend Killer?

i just read on another forum, that TNA is ripping WWE off yet again with a angle thats having Jay Lethal beat a certain legend every week. gee, didnt Orton do that a few years ago? not to mention the angle with Jericho where he ran down the legends before Mania this year. god TNA, get it together and do something that i dare say...original

well....atleast Lethal is doing something in TNA


hopefully TNA can get the interesting Legends to job to Lethal lol

or maybe Lethal will lose and never challenge another legend lol

idk...I am just anticipating the first legend to face him. as long as these arent mostly people who jobbed to Orton, i dont mind the similar gimmick.

i think the first legend is Jim Neidhart, he WAS supposed to debut at the tapings. and Maryse didnt rip anyone off. if anyone ripped that gimmick off from anyone else...it was TBP taking it from Rick Martel

I think it's supposed to be a like a failing legend killer. I dont think hes actually going to beat anyone.

But if he gets beaten all the time, its a teaked rip-off, so Im ok with that. I not a 100% if thats the case, but thats what it seems like to me.
I think itd be great to have all these legends come in and actually win.

Did you even watch the promo? He asked any "ol' timers" who think they still have it if he could have a match with them since he is paying tribute to Randy Savage [with his on going gimmick].

I don't mind it. Jay is pretty good at acting like Savage and this could lead to some.. interesting match ups.

I love Lethals gimmick, and I really think this thing is going to be greatness. They're doing something with Jay, plus we get to see a bunch of legends. Hopefully they bring in guys who're on WWE's shit list, guys we havnt got to see in awhile.

I like the idea too. Maybe Jay will go all bi-polar and forget which wrestler he is suppose to be.. The forgettable X-Division style user or a really good impression of Savage. haha

Im really excited to see Neidhart, he is one of my favorites.

I know these guys wont necessarily be involved, but who did Jay say in his promo? I remember he said Flair, Jake the Snake, who else?

I agree with Dead, Marty is too good to job to him. But, Marty jobbed to the Miz, so whats the bloody difference...

Lets see what they've copied:
-Jay Lethal as RS
-Shark Boy taking off Steve Austin
-Tara using Spider- similar to Jake's snake (Although this doesnt bother me, as its part of who she is)
-Santino/Divas storyline with Cody Deaner- Eventually, all divas turn against them after a relationship- ODB/Deaner, Beth/Santino
-TBP- Ricky Martel takeoff, taking off the Ladies in Pink (Who were much better btw)

This is all I can think of atm.

Don't wrestling companies all recycle the same storylines and characters at one point or another. Just saying. I mean seriously they do. Vince goes so far as to even copy himself LOL.
