The Ruins (Season One)

Hey WD! It’s time for a new game and I’ll be your host, before anyone says anything! I did not finish Big Brother because I was uninterested especially considering Serial was cheating. Now I have a new game and I’m ready to host.

If you watch the MTV Real World/Road Rules Challenges then you’ll know what I am talking about. I will split everyone up and make up two teams. Your goal? To win every challenge. But there is a twist. Every elimination round you must choose a captain. Each captain will name 6 players to put up for possible elimination. Now if YOUR team wins the challenge, you choose who gets to go up from elimination from the opposing team but you also have to send in someone from your team in for elimination. The two players from opposite teams will battle it out in The Ruins. One will stay in the game and loser gets eliminated. This will continue until there is one person left or if there is a team left standing. There are two possible ways to win.

My Personal Rules?
1.Dont Join the Game if you aren’t going to be committed to it
2.You must know how to Print Screen (If You need help) Ask me or a fellow player
3.No Cheating or photo shopping the scores, believe it or not we had a cheater before.

I need to know how to do it

Here you go, full credit goes to Vixen for this!


press the print screen button on the top right section of your keyboard

then go to the Start menu in the bottom left of your screen ....click "Programs' then open the program 'Paint"

press ctrl + P or go to "Edit' ...then 'Paste'..

the screened image will be pasted in paint..then you can save it

but when you save it make sure to change the file type to .jpg

^^ Do i have to use paint or can i use it in Gimp?

Can you do a sample challenge and the answer or something so I know what I'm dealing with lol.

As for the rules I'm kinda confused on some stuff.

"Every elimination round you must choose a captain. Each captain will name 6 players to put up for possible elimination."

Why does there need to be a captain? Can't we just all vote or nominate ourselves like the real "The Ruins" Game?

Also will it be a girls vs girls / boys vs boys etc? or since this isn't a physical challenge will it not matter?

all challenges will be arcade games from online.

You are correct, before every challenge the teams will vote on who they want to be captain. That captain will have alot of responsibility because right off the gate they have to name 6 players they want to go up for potential elimination. After the challenge (depending on the winning team) Whichever team wins chooses who out of the 6 from the opposing team to go in to the Ruins. Then the 6 from the winning team must vote within themselves, if there is a tie. Captain has final say. Did I help you better understand it?

I'm adding my own personal twist from the real Ruins game lol


If we can get 8 boys and 8 girls to play, I will love to do a Battle of The Sexxes type thing but I dunno if that is likely

Ok

Two teams of 8
Each team votes for a captain
Each captain chooses 6 players for possible elimination
Everyone does the challenge
Team with highest score wins challenge
That team votes who from the opposing team (one of the 6) to go into the ruins
The 6 from the winning team vote one of there own in to the Ruins
2 Players enter The Ruins
1 Comes back to the game
