“Bigger and Better Announcements”

Segment 1: Announcement from the boss

The show opens with Sunny in the ring with a briefcase on a table in the ring; she has some huge announcement and begins to speak on how happy she is on the success of WCW so far. She also talked about how excited she is for the next upcoming show “Adrenaline Rush” that will take place on August 8th 2009, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She then continued saying that the Cincinnati fans better be prepared because more Champions are going to be crowd right there. Sunny said new Tag Team Champions will be crowned but starting tonight, there will be a tag team tournament. There will be 6 different teams and those teams will battle it out in weekly matches. If a team wins a match, they get 3 whole points, if a team loses they will get only 1. The two teams with the most points on the Nitro before “Adrenaline Rush” will face off in a Tag Team Title Match at Adrenaline. And she said the first match…starts after the commercial break with Amber O’Neal & Krissy Vaine taking on Kristal Marshall & Sara Del Rey

Segment 2: Let the Battle begin: Amber & Krissy vs Kristal & Sara

This was a good back and forth match, Krissy Vaine and Amber O’Neal where hilarious, they were using mirrors every time to check their faces whenever they got hit which annoyed Sara Del Rey & Kristal. Amber & Krissy are a good comedic duo. Match came to an end when Kristal rolled up Amber for the 3 count.

Segment 3: Natalya addressing the fans

Natalya talked about how she is undefeated and wants a worthy opponent. She said her she’s going to continue with her fan challenge next week and the winning fee will be $1000. She then continued by saying every time she won someone it will continue to rise another $1000. But before she leaves she wanted to ask the fans a few questions. She picked a fan from the crowd and asked her what her name was. Her name was Daphne Daniels, Natalya then continued by asking her who the most dominant Vixen of Nitro is, Daphne responded by saying “Cheerleader Melissa”, well this obviously this did not sit well with Natalya, who began viciously beating the fan until referee’s ran down and pulled Natalya away and checked up on the fan.

Segment 4: Mercedes Martinez vs Tiana Ringer

This was a good match, finally Tiana in a competitive match. Mercedes won the match Via DQ after Trinity ran down and tried to get involved. She began attacking Mercedes but Mercedes managed to fight her off and Trinity made a run for it after Mercedes was getting the upper hand.

Segment 5: Main Event Announcement

Sunny was seen backstage and announces that Nora is going to defend her title again. This time it will not be a singles match, it will be a triple Threat Match….it will be Nora Greenwald taking on both Jazz and Cheerleader Melissa in a Triple Threat Match in the Main Event.

Segment 6: Ashley Lane & MsChiff vs Roxxi and Taylor Wilde

This was a good match, Roxxi and MsChiff started off, MsChiff then tagged in Ashley who continued but quickly got dominated by Roxxi. Roxxi and Taylor worked the crowd while working well on Ashley. Ashley seemed to get the upper hand and was about to make the tag on MsChif. But MsChif walked away, leaving Ashley confused while Taylor went for the roll up for the win. Roxxi and Taylor look on confused as Ashley looks up at MsChiff, who was making her way backstage, nor angry or happy.

Segment 7: A few words

Lauren Brooke was seen backstage about to interview Rain & Lacey, Rain and Lacey talked about how they are the greatest Tag Team ever and was supposed to be crowd champions and not tossed in a tournament filled with Rookies. Rain and Lacey continued to bash the other teams and finally talked about their opponents Daizee Haze and Serena Deeb. They said, Serena should start acting like a girl and that Daizee should lay off the weed. They shoved Lauren aside and prepared for their match, which was up next.

Segment 8: Daizee Haze & Serena Deeb vs Lacey & Rain

This was a damn good match, so far match of the night. Daizee played underdog while Rain and Lacey cheated throughout the whole match to try to pick a win. The match finally came to an end when Rain pulled Daizee of the turn buckle and was beating on her on the outside while Serena went for the spear and Lacey moved out the way and Serena hit her head in the turnbuckle and Lacey nailed her with a DDT to pick up the win.

Segment 9: Trinity wants a little more…

Mercedes Martinez was seen exiting the arena as out of nowhere Trinity ran in and began attack Trinity, Trinity then said “Let me show you how us Italians do things”, Trinity then threw Mercedes in her trunk and drove off.

Segment 10: Why? Tell me why?

Ashley lane confronts MsChif about what happened earlier, MsChif said it was a test and made sure she was ready for next week. Ashley grows frustrating but walks off, just so she doesn’t have to attack MsChif, who seemed calmed.

Segment 11: The Main Event Title Match

This one good match, best title match so far. Nora was kept out of the match for a good portion which then lead to Melissa and Jazz exchanging blows. The match came to an end when Melissa nailed Jazz with a vicious Kudo Driver. Melissa hyped up the crowd as Jazz rolled out of the ring and Nora out of nowhere leaped off the top rope and used her “Nora-Go-Round” on Melissa to pick up an impressive victory.
