what advice would you give someone that's to shy to ask someone out?

invite them to a group get together first..so there's no pressure.

then during the group thing, pull them aside and talk one on one..then ask them out.

advice? i would drawn the both of them in the same location and say" ay, if you dont pick him/her up soon, some other chick will and the chick might be ratchet. So you betta watch out."

You have to leave an impression, somehow. How one does that depends on the environment and personality of both parties.

It's very cliche, but be yourself. You're not doing yourself any favors by not being authentic.

Show some sense of humor. No one wants to be around a dry ass person.

Don't reveal too much. Make yourself seem important & interesting.

Don't come off as a beggar.
