TNA Turning Point PPV Opener:

Turning Point opens with a video package featuring Hulk Hogan, Dixie Carter, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Daniels and other TNA regulars. Mike Tenay and Taz welcome us to the show and introduce our first match of the night, which is an X-Division contest.

X-Division Title:
-Amazing Red (c) vs. Homicide

Homicide is basically dominating the action for the first few minutes of this opening bout. Lots of fast-paced spots and typical X-Division style action to open the show. "He's Amazing" chant breaks out from the crowd in Orlando. The finish came when Red went for a moonsault off the top, but Homicide caught him on the way down with a Diamond Cutter. Homicide tried following that up with a huracanrana but Red avoids it and hits the Code Red for the pinfall and the victory. Don West joins him in the ring to celebrate the victory.

Winner and STILL X-Division champion: Amazing Red

TNA Knockout & Knockout Tag-Titles:
-ODB, Sarita & Taylor Wilde vs. The Beautiful People

Tenay runs down the stipulations again. Whoever pins ODB is the new Knockouts champion and if one of the Knockout tag-champs are pinned, than the Knockout tag-titles change hands. Anti-Lacey signs are making it on camera with Taz even acknowledging them. Shortly after, we get a loud "you can't wrestle" chant directed at Lacey. The finish came when ODB hit her finisher on Rayne and scored the pinfall.

Winners: ODB, Sarita & Taylor Wilde

Jeremy Borash Interviews Desmond Wolfe

Backstage Jeremy Borash is with Desmond Wolfe. Wolfe talks about how he's studied Kurt Angle since day one and knows him better than Angle knows himself.

TNA Tag-Team Titles:
-British Invasion vs. Beer Money vs. Motor City Machine Guns

Rob Terry doesn't come out with British Invasion. All three teams brawl to open the match. A loud "U.S.A." chant breaks out from the crowd early. A few minutes later, Beer Money is hitting some of their signature moves. Crowd isn't into this match as much as these guys would like. Eric Young interferes at one point, which prompts Kevin Nash to run out and take the TNA Legends title from Young. Storm grabs Young on the ramp but Nash blasts Storm with the Legends title. Finish came after a few more cluster-fuck scrambles with Magnus eventually pinning Roode to win the match for his team.

Winners: British Invasion

Jeremy Borash Interviews Kevin Nash

Borash asks Nash why he just did what he did. Nash said he did it for Hulk. He said Hulk was in on it and he'd explain it more on Thursday if Hulk lets him.

Six Sides Of Steel:
-Tara vs. Awesome Kong

Kong dominates the action for a good majority of the match. Lots of surprising spots off the ropes from Tara, including a powerbomb of Kong off the top. The finish came when Tara hit a Thesz Press style spot for the pin.

Winner: Tara

Taz & Tenay Talk Hogan

At ringside, Mike Tenay and Taz talk about Hulk Hogan joining TNA. A Hogan-TNA video package is shown. They question what Hogan's role in the company will be and Tenay said we'll find out sooner or later.

Rhino & Team 3D vs. Matt Morgan, Hernandez & D'Angelo Dinero

The finish in this one, which was a solid match, came when Rhino hit Hernandez with a chair. He followed it up with a gore for the pin and the victory.

Winner: Rhino & Team 3D

Lauren Interviews Scott Steiner

Lauren is backstage with Scott Steiner. Steiner says Bobby Lashley can't control or satisfy his wife. Steiner vows to pin Lashley and then "cover his wife too."

Bobby Lashley vs. Scott Steiner

Lots of suplex spots from both guys early on into the match. Steiner hits the Frankensteiner off the top on Lashley for a nearfall. Later on, Steiner goes to the top but Lashley caught him and then dropped him on the top rope. Steiner and Lashley are now fighting at ringside. The brawl continues and the two are now fighting their way backstage. The camera men lose the two in the midst of the brawl. When they catch up with them, Lashley is stalking a bloody Steiner. They eventually fight their way back into the ringside area. The finish comes when Steiner hits Lashley with a pipe for a pinfall on the floor.

Winner: Scott Steiner

Jeremy Borash Interviews Kurt Angle

Borash is backstage with Angle. Angle says Wolfe is playing by prison rules - going after the big dog to make a name for himself. Angle says unlike Wolfe, he doesn't need to know who he is to beat him, which he says he will do tonight. And that match is up next!

Kurt Angle vs. Desmond Wolfe

Wolfe is working on Angle's hand and arm early. Tenay explains that Wolfe is trying to take away Angle's gripping strength. After being beat down and selling the arm for most of the early portion of the match, Angle finally gets in some offense, firing up with a number of suplexes and slams on Wolfe. Later on, Wolfe tries the Tower Of London finisher but Angle escapes it and almost pins Wolfe. Wolfe is back to working on Angle's arm again. The finish came after a scramble of submission attempts from both guys, which finished with Angle applying a side triangle choke for the tap out victory.

Winner: Kurt Angle

Jeremy Borash Interviews Samoa Joe

Joe basically talks about how no one has sent AJ or Daniels to the emergency room more than he has. You get the idea.

Backstage: Daniels

We see Daniels walking backstage towards the entrance. The cameras stuck with him as he made his entrance to the ring, similar to how UFC fighters are shown in main events going from backstage to the cage.

Backstage: AJ Styles

Same deal here. Cameras follow AJ backstage as he makes his way to the entrance and then to the ring in one still shot.

TNA World Title:
-AJ Styles (c) vs. Samoa Joe vs. Daniels

Really great action in this match, as you would expect. All guys had their chance to shine from time to time. Seriously, this is just a blockbuster "work-rate" style contest. Very impressive. The finish in a great match comes when Styles hits a 450 splash on Daniels (who was in the middle of a pin attempt on Joe). This allows Styles to cover Joe for the pinfall victory.

Winner and STILL TNA World champion: AJ Styles
