What extremely difficult life situation have you overcome and how did you do it?

childhood trauma when i was 5 years old

then my brother died in 2003

and my mom kicked me out when I was 17 so i spent my senior year of high school homeless.

Me-
Got diagnosed with a disorder at 20 years old.
Overcame depression, I take medicine for it.
Being teased all through school becasue I was different.
My dad's car accident that nearly killed him in 2005.

I also have somewht of a anxiety problem - it mainly happens for me when I'm on the subway and bus.

Last summer, I was depressed and was considering committing suicide. I spoke to someone at a medical facilty that I used to go to because of a chronic illness and he convinced me to get some therapy. I got immediate help and I began feeling better. They didn't let me go until I told someone close to me why I was there and also until I promised to talk with them about my problems. All is well now.

That's when it was at its worst for me. I had to have the windows open or I'd have horrible attacks.

Gee... that really sucks.

I was homeless

I had to endure a month of bad hair! It just wouldn't brush, wash, dry or cut right at all!

Pneumonia at 5 years old. i flat lined twice.

My mum having cancer.

I overcame my differcult situations by
Vollenttering at the animal shelter. Moving away to a family care home, which made me realize what I did have and getting the job I have now, keeps me really busy.
