PostSubject: Report: How Hogan's TNA Signing Will Effect Sting's Future   Report: How Hogan's TNA Signing Will Effect Sting's Future EmptySat 28 Nov 2009, 3:11 am

We exclusively reported awhile back, when news first broke that Hulk Hogan had signed with TNA, that Sting planned to continue working for TNA and hold off on any plans to retire for the immediate moment. The Wrestling Observer has provided an update on the Sting situation, noting that the plan going forward is to have Sting "no-show" several setup interviews to be aired on Impact, in order to build mystery around what he's going to do now that Hogan is with TNA.
At this point, TNA feels that it would be best to hold off on bringing Sting back to TV until January, as that's when Hogan has been rumored to begin working with the company. TNA is apparently in "lame duck mode" right now, as creative plans are mostly idling until Hogan makes his big debut with the company. Therefore, TNA feels like it would be a waste to bring back any big names right now as there isn't much going on until Hogan makes his TV debut.

Why? No Sting to hog the main event? No Hogan to take 40% of tv time??

And we are getting more of Joe, Daniels, Wolfe, Angle, Roode, Styles, Team 3D, Hernandez, Storm, Young......to some extent Lashly?? it's probably the freaking best month in TNA to come.

when was the last time Sting was in the main event? Calm the hell down. all I was saying is that they will stretch their next storyline out for forever. i'm eager to see what'll become of it.

Sting was in a few title matches as a contender this year, from august through last month. as far as him hogging the main event, hardly. that went to Angle

and Angle was logical because he was the leader of the MEM who were the main focus of the company, and he never had a bad performance once which people look over immensely-he was excellent. Now that the MEM is over, he's stepped aside so people can stop complaining now....and Kev, you want to see more of Team 3D...WHAT???

Seemingly tna likes Team 3d shifty

But personally i would release Kevin Nash, Team 3D, Sting, Hulk Hogan, Scott Steiner....to some extend Rhino .

i'd push guys like Robert Roode, James Storm, Kaz, Daniels, Desmont Wolfe, Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe as the stars of my company.

Let World Elite, MCMG & Consequences Creed & Abyss/Foley, & Stevie/Raven in the tag division.

While Red and whoever ain't tagging to take care of the X-Division.

I'd also re-hire Trinity, Petey Williams, Chris Harris, Matt Bentley....well Austin Aries too but he wouldn't leave ROH now. I think he's doing great there.
