The next issue of Inside Wrestling features The Rock and John Cena on the cover of the magazine with a headline reading: “Hot WrestleMania Rumor – John Cena vs. The Rock.” The sister publication of Pro Wrestling Illustrated claims that the “mega-bout is closed to being signed.”

The article’s synopsis reads: “The relationship between The Rock and John Cena is strange. Cena respects all The Rock has accomplished yet seems to resent it at the same time. That is why “The Champ” is pining for a match with The Rock at WWE’s showcase event. Word is, this mega-bout is close to being signed.”

To view the cover of the magazine, visit www.pwi-online.com. The issue hits newsstands December 8, 2009. With all that being said, don't read too much into these rumors at the moment.

I dunno how reliable this site is but Rock is set to host Raw in January so it cant be that far fetched, I just hope if this happens. Rock better win, Cena going over Rock would be insane. Rock needs to win and proof that he will always be the best, he defeated Hogan, he better do it when he faces Super Cena.

yea I liked cena when he was a Heel he was funny and and he is a good wrestler but he only uses the same moves over again he needs to add some more moves but i like him he is funny he is the rock of the PG era but no where in the rocks leauge over all but he could when he is closer to retire (if he makes it there he could go in to movies just like the rock)

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for somebody pointing that out. i quit reading their shit because it was so ridiculously marky and one-sided it disgusted me. The last straw was when they finally admit to a lady wrestler on the circuit that they put WWE number one because they are the most prominently shown.....Just sad.

dude, I haven't watched WWE in a few months LOL Rock vs Cena would be one of the worst matches EVER. The Rock is at his best when he plays off somebody, he can't carry a match by himself whioch everyone knows that will happen with Cena. The over-selling can only go so far.

The Rock vs John Cena has the potential to be the Greatest Match Ever.


However, the way WWE books its matches, expect a lame match barely worthy of the midcard if the rumours are to be believed.

a great match only if the rock would win but if cena would win it make it look the great one the rock is no in cenas leauge where thats not true its the other way around
