Edge as heel or face? Which role of his do you prefer?

Yea this topic has been done to death but it never gets old. Also with recent reports of Edge's return being pushed back, I just want to have a topic about him lol, so which one does Edge play better? And will he return as heel or face? I kinda hope he returns as face. Smackdown is seriously lacking faces with Punk and recently Batista turning heel

I like Edges heel better he is funny as a heel.
I didnt like Edge as a Face he just is a Heel he has the punk rocker look and that is not a face look the hard rocker look is Heel

yea he was a dork as a face, what was his gimmick as a face anyway i didnt understand his gimmick was it a rip off from his gimmick when he was part of ministry of darkness with Christian as a tag team.
I like him better as a heel he just is a heel he ages and looks like a heel

I liked Edge as a heel the best. He was funny and played a bad boy really well. I loved his rated r days with Lita. Those were some of the best Edge moments.

since his Rated-R Superstar persona is played out and he was a stand-up comedian as a face, I like him better injured.

I personally always loved Edge more then Christian but TNA's Christian really stepped up and now I currently like them both equally, funny how that works lol

TNA Christian didnt change that, as he was basically the same character, just in a smaller company, and he was the biggst name to hit the company at the time, so pushing him to the top was good for business..he didnt step up at all, he was just given better oppertunities, that he deserved *incase anyone gets pissy*

I think Edge is a better heel, i dont have a preference either, but as he's been a heel for the past 5 years, changing it up wont be too bad

Who the fuck is Edge? A guy that gets injured every two years..he's more brittle than Kennedy and Batista combined. He's weak and Vickie Guerrero showed she was the greater heel by far. Just like Lita and Matt Hardy kept Edge relevant when he was fading into obscurity in 2005. i saw that match, Edge got pops when he came out but there was a noticable undercurrent of boos but not overwhelming definitely nowhere near X-Pac Heat but that was because Edge was on the verge of heeling at the time, since he was in a program with the face Jericho weeks prior. also to further reference that hometown reaction, at unforgiven in '05, he got massive pops so it had nothing to do with that he perceivably 'sucked'.

it's understandable that you don't like Edge but it is also not wise insulting someone higher than you in power. Just saying. when you say Christian is superior to edge, back it up with legit counterpoints with WHY you think Christian is better than Edge, not "Who in the fuck is Edge" because Edge is Jeff Hardy as Christian is Matt Hardy in terms of how most people see it-everyone in the industry knows 'who in the fuck' Adam Copeland is and yes, he is talented. Yes, he's at his best when he works with a tool beside him to use because of his character but he can very much perform without one-same with Christian. Difference is between them is that WWE was only willing to push one of them; because of the Hardy incident, they chose Edge.

firstly back up your thoughts with facts not opinions, just because you say that Vickie is better, or that in certain towns or PPV he got "this match sucks" doesnt make it true, because its quite clear that you must have some hearing problem or something because you seem to hear things that 90% of the forum dont hear.

Edge was a better heel, but I preferred him as a face, and its time he freshened up. He was an awesome face back in 2002-4, and was extremely over and great in the ring. As a heel, he was forced to water down his abilities a lot.

LOL. Inaccurate as everr. Turning heel leadning to Summerslam 04 after he said he was gonna take down Evolution one member at a time? No, kid. That's called "revised history". He was a face alright but the fans said "FUCK YOU. You're not good enough".

DVDs back me up everyday. You? You're just mad that the guy really is a heel Cena really. A overpushed average worker at best. And Vickie is the most over heel in pro wrestling. Every houseshow, Raw, spoiler reports, international acconts everywhere has proven it over the last year. Jericho was close to it after he punched Shawn's wife in the eye but Vickie has brought dead crowds alive with just one word.

And I don't care what some Edge loving forum thinks they hear..at Backlash 2004, the crowd chanted "THIS MATCH SUCKS" at Edge like he was a nobody and that was in Canada. He's garbage.
