| 1 Brett Hart-No explanation needed.
2 Dean Maleko- If there ever was a more polished submisson or pure mat wrestler I havent seen him, there is a reason he is named the man of 1,000 holds.
3 Chris Beniot- One of the greatest submisson artist of all time. He made his craft of mat based Wrestling fun to watch.
4 Kurt Angle- The only olmpic gold metalist in wretling histrory is the true defeniton wrestling.
5 Lou Thez- Never seen much of him,but I know he was a great mat wrestling wizard.
6 Scott Steiner- Alot of the new fans of wrestling are gonna wonder what the hell, but true fans no that scotty steiner is one hell of a technical wresler back in his day. Hell he made a suplex look like it was a piece of cake, *censored* Tazz steiner is the real Human suplex machine.
7 Ric Flair- Not only the greatest ever but a wrestling genuis in my eyes.
8 Mitsuharu Misawa the penultimate, modern wrestling icon in my book. Gave his life to making "so called fake" wrestling maneuvers look as real and entertaining as humanly possible. Also has the most 5 STAR matches of all time.
9Billy Robinson - hated by many, respected by all. He's carried just about everyone he's worked with and trained many of the best. He's also part of the reason that all British wrestlers in traditional ring attire are flat out presumed to be great mat technicians by fans before they ever even step foot into the ring.
10Mr. Perfect. He truely was perfect at everything he did... an amazing wrestler with amazing talent.. shame he had to kick the bucket early. | |

| That’s actually a great list, a few people I don’t know much about but I do know the majority. Glad to see Benoit listed, he really was a great wrestler. Nice to see Dean Malenko, pretty underrated so quite a nice surprise. I always liked Kurt Angle, he’s still kicking ass and taking names over at TNA. Really nice list. | |

| That list is solid but I don't agree with Flair; Flair was way more of an entertainer and did taunts and crap than actual technical wrestling, minus a shin breaker here and stomps at the leg there with a Figure-Four finishing it out. I would have replaced him with Eddie Guerrero. They're underrated in this area but Lance Storm, Konnan, and William Regal should be honorably mentioned; those guys were excellent in their heyday | |
