Top 10 most overated divas

As Blue isnt "able" to do this, follow what he said, now this is overated, not worst wrestlers.

The purpose of this thread is to identify the 10 most overrated divas of the last 10 years...i.e., 1998 to the present day. Whatever your defintion of the words may be, please list your choices in descending order, with #1 being the most underrated/overrated of the bunch.

Important: Please explain your choices, so as to actually initiate conversation. This leads to my next point, which I will explain in bold all caps:DO NOT MAKE THIS A LIST THREAD, i.e. just writing down 10 names without elaboration. It's lazy and annoying. This is a discussion forum is it not? Have fun.

#5~Stacy Keibler-I never liked her. I never got the hype over her. Its like she has long legs, so what? I know she was more of a non wrestler who stayed out of the wrestling divison most of the time, and I give her props for that, but the fans still praised her a little too much imo.

#4~Michelle McCool-I know shes not liked as much on forums but The WWE sure overrates her. Shes been pushed since 2007 and hasnt really produced results. Sure shes improved and become a decent wrestler but shes just so over pushed. She needs to let others shine. I think she is becoming a spotlight hog.

#3~Maria-Though most people on forums dont like her that much, but she is overrated by the casual fans. I feel shes overrated becasue shes been there for 5 years and hasnt improved all that much and yet people in the audiance are still cheering for her.

#2~Ashley-Like Maria, she isnt liked as much by the fans on forums. But I hear people in the audiance cheer for her. I felt she won the DS only becasue of her punk look. Yeah I understand she stood out and all that but I felt there were others in that contest that year who will have made better WWE divas and probably at least make an effort in the ring. When she was in the DS and all through that contest, she was over hyped. Then she posed for PB, I felt she was over pushed. She sucked as a wrestler. I NEVER saw the hype in her either.

#1~Maryse-I dont want to make anyone mad but here goes. Well I think she was overhyped the minute she stood foot in the WWE doors. People act like they have never seen an overly tanned bleach blonde before. People were like when she going to be wrestling. Then she got pushed. I still think to this day she is being pushed and given oppertunities becasue of her looks. People act like she is the savoir of the womens divison and shes not. All the girls who are in the divison contribute in some way shape or form. Yeah she has Charisma, thats a good thing, but ringwise she has not impressed me. All She does is Hairflip, Camel Clutch, A few Kicks and Slaps, DDT. I dont think thats impressive tbh. I just never got the hype around her.

If I offend anyone about feeling this way about their favorites, I aplogize. This wasnt meant to offend anyone.

we need to get those four out of the title scene and start having girls like Gail, Nattie and Katie get the gold, and to a lesser extent try girls like Layla, Eve and Alicia out more, even though i cant stand the latter

That I understand and agree but Michelles been the only one pushed since 2007, even if she wasnt going for the title, she was still winning matches left and right. Melina, Mickie, and Beth were all pushed aside a few times since 2007. Melina-After she lost her title to Candice and lost her rematch, Mickie-After she lost her womens title to Beth at SS and before her Divas Title push, and Beth-Now and after she lost her rematches to Melina.

Thats why I picked Michelle out as the one needing to step aside.

Melinas been pushed since 2006...so you're point is what?

^But there was times she wasnt in the title picture or pushed for a while, after she lost her rematch to Candice in 2007. I remember Melina jobbing on Heat back then.

^the point is, Melinas been in the title picture LONG before McCool was even having matches. she was the manager for Stevens and that other guy while Melina was getting title matches

Melina also had to step aside for Ashley and Candice (although I loved her!)

Ashley - Same as above
Candice Michelle - Can't wrestle...but she can make trashy commercials
Maria - Retard, no wrestling skills at all

That's it, I don't really have ten at the moment.
Those are the ones that really bug me. The rest I could care less for, or already dislike. There are a few I find underated as well.

ODB- Annoying as hell, ugly and not that even great of a wrestler. I feel embarassed when ODB is wrestling on tv.

Sable- I admit, back in 1998 when I was like 11...I thought she was the sexiest woman. Everything she did..I thought was oh wow. But looking back now at the age of 22...and even her return in 2003....I realize that she was not that great at all.

Maryse- It takes more then being sexy, to intrest me in what your doing. What does Maryse have like two moves? And half the time she can't even execute them right.

Michelle McCool- Seems to really think highly of herself. She SERIOUSLY compares herself to Trish Stratus, which is a joke. She IS only get a push because of who she sleeps with. She's a female version of HHH...always made to look better then everyone else. Can't even garner a reaction, even though she has been shoved down our throats.

Ashely- I was furious when Mickie James was pushed aside for her She can't wrestle...she can't do anything. And she wasn't even that damn good looking...actually I don't find her attractive at all. She is my main example of what I can't stand in women's wrestling in WWE.

I'm surprised there was even THAT many lists with Maryse, alot of people like her. I personally, an't a fan either.

Maryse: I like the girl but a lot of her fans overrate her so damn much and act like she's Jesus. Sure, she plays her character well but that's all she's really got at the moment

Mickie: She's a good wrestler, or should I say was a good wrestler but some of her fans still make her out to be this perfect goddess. You can't say one bad thing about her without them going overboard and saying shit to you yet most of them go around spewing whatever they want about other divas

Trish: She was good, I'll admit that, but she's not a frickin queen. I'm still pissed that she had so many reigns and retired with the belt when there were a few others better than her and should've gotten the same treatment.

Maryse: Anyone one of those idiot wwe hired/fired can pose and semi wrestler. only difference is that shes the prettiest thing they have. People over hype her.

Chin Twins: Just dont like them. They both suck and making them gimicky twins just makes me dislike them more.

Kelly: If there is one person who i think should not ever be in a ring it would be her. she just sucks.

Mickie: either tone ur body so that you can be decent when you wrestler, retire, or lose some damn weight.

Maryse. Gosh, need I say more? She isn't even an accomplished wrestler, but because she is so sexy and charismatic, noone cares. Having her defeat Gail Kim in like 2 minute matches is pure rediculous.

Trish. See beginning of Maryse. Although Trish became insanely over and a great wrestler, she didn't deserve to be shoved down our throats the way she was. There was NEVER a time that she was out of the womens title picture since winning her first womens championship, unless she was injured.

ODB. She isn't the best wrestler, but she does have an awesome character. I would usually not say she is overrated, but since winning two knockout titles, it has become clear that she is.

Angelina Love. People say she can wrestle, but I haven't seen anything decent. If she can't look good as a heel, how would she look good as a face? Her character was dry and boring, though sometimes funny. She didn't deserve the knockouts title twice.

Kelly Kelly. She has nothing to offer apart from her looks and overness. She has a boring character, and is medicore in the ring at best. Why she is being pushed over credible wrestlers is beyong my knowledge.

Mickie James. Although she was good in the beginning, she has WAY too many womens championships, especially considering she has been on/off since 2006 in regards to recieving pushes, and she already has more titles than lita and Moolah. She hasn't been the best in the ring lately, and looks like she may be getting another title. We all know she is the Trish of this generation to a lesser extent.

Awesome Kong. Awesome Kong is just like the Umaga of the division. She may be good for her size, but she is way too unstoppable than she should be. If little men can defeat Umaga, same should be said for Kong.

Candice Michelle. The most overrated b***** that ever existed in the wrestling business. How she got a womens title and such a lengthy reign is beyond me. She is the reason for Melina and Jillian not looking as credible in the ring these days.

Maria. The ditzy diva that has recieved so many wins that she doesn't even deserve.

Chyna. The way she just dominated the division was pure rediculous. She was like the Triple H of the division. Figures, considering they were dating.

I think Natayla is overrated, I really dont get why people go on about her so much, just because she is related to the Hart Family, when she does wrestle she dosent really impress me and to be honest, I find her boring

Oh, real quickly.. I agree Trish is quite overrated from a technical stand point. However, I also think she's one of the more underrated Divas from a wrestling stand point by most people who overrate her. A lot of her matches almost always had the crowd involved because she didn't go out there and try to prove she can wrestle (aka do a bunch of moves). She went out there to prove the match is worth a damn. She did however tried her hardest to make whoever was with her look like a million bucks while being able to do her moves (most of the time) without a hitch. She sold and bumped her ass off on moves by people in a way that everyone else just couldn't do.



Okay, I made a list. Not in a specific order though.

Michelle - Okay, we have beaten the fact she's a black hole for charisma to death. But another BIG TIME flaw for this chick is she DOESN'T sell unless she is getting pinned and then it's right back up to her feet. And we all know she's too good to take a pin. The main stream wrestling crowd, not just the WWE, has ALWAYS been condition to watch to see some drama in a match. What is the point of pulling out all the stops to knock someone out if they aren't going to go down? What is the point of the match when one side of it is only out to make herself look good? Maybe she would be better appreciated in a ROH-style fed where selling is clearly option as long as you are willing to do a bunch of flashy moves.

Mickie - Never really was a specatular wrestler. However, I guess when the most of other chicks when you come in aren't exactly the most *polished* (Maria/Candice/Ashley/Torrie), you are bound to look eons better. I honestly do believe that if they tried the way she came in with anyone else, it would've failed miserable. Why? Well, look at Mickie's work outside of working with Trish. It sucks. Another problem Mickie has that I have said over and over and over is that she doesn't think about her opponents. She does the EXACT things she would do with Beth as she would do with Rosa. It might because of that old saying "do what works". However, with Mickie, it hasn't worked since Trish.

Victoria/Tara - When Molly left, Victoria was put in that "veteran" jobber role. Ever since, people went on to say how "terribly" misused she was. Honestly, I don't think so. She had her turn and the WWE wanted to press on in their new direction of using the DS girls as more then just a pair of tits. Victoria's excution has always been sloppy. Which doesn't make sense to me since most, if not all of her opponents, were shorter/smaller in muscle mass then her. Sounds like a stupid complaint, but they always built her as one of the strongest Divas and most of her moves are designed to toss around the other chick. Now that she's in TNA, her booking as really exposed that she's not that great of excuter. She's not the chick jobbing all the time, but the one featured all the time.

Chyna - Were we suppose to ignore how little she did in the ring just because she was working with the men? Outside of the powerbomb, clothesline, low blow (the ding sound in No Mercy still cracks me up lol), occasional headscissors, and military press, home girl didn't do much. Don't get me wrong, I liked Chyna. I just think if they were going to make a big deal of a woman working with the men, shouldn't she wreslte them like she was working with a woman since she was the same size as Jericho or Jarrett?

ODB - Funny.. I would defend that Maryse or TBP characters hides her limited-ness in the ring, but I can't do that with ODB. She's suppose to be this drunk fightin' and brawlin' redneck who wants a good time. But she's not a good brawler and her matches are never really a good time.

Torrie Wilson: All I got from her was that she could shove her underwear up her ass. Also that she was VERY comfortable doing all things sexual in the ring and not afraid to degrade herself. She sucked ass in the ring and wore lingerie (garters) to wrestle. Was clumsy and got on my damn nerves.

Stacy Keibler: So what. You've got legs and?????? So do all girls taller than 5'6. She was annoying and had botched nose job.

Maria: Good Lord. Was she dropped on her head as a baby. This girl needs to travel on the short bus just for the stupid facial expressions she makes when interviewing and wrestling. She always makes this one face like she smells something bad as if someone cut one. WTF is that about? Another thing is that she OVER ACTS in the ring. She makes Cena look like Denzel Washington when it comes to selling.

Ashley: Probably the biggest skank EVER in the WWE (and that is a huge accomplisment considering some of the women). She looked dirty all the time and like she took heroine hits every night right before RAW. She had the ugliest stick legs and had the nerve to shove them into big goth boots. Not to mention that wall flat ass didn't match the breasts. I mean, the bolt on tits failed to distract me from her Howard the Duck face. What really pissed me off was the fact that she stole Lita's entire gimmick or at least tried to.

The Bella Twins: The Jay Leno girls. Don't know what they're really there for but then again we can say that about half the roster. The one thing I hate is their double mint twin act. I mean I don't know their first names or care to know. Who cares if they're twins make them stand out or just get rid of them.

Rosa: Meh, don't care if she stays or goes
